W is for Wait. Wait on the Lord. Your God has a different time time table than you have. Enjoy his gift of nature and the natural beauty of His Creation while you wait. Give thanks.

W is for Win, We are told, ''Stick with the winner.'' What is a winner? My sponsor told me, 'Any one who stays clean for 24 hours is a winner.' So i you stayed sober for another 24 hours, you are a winner.

W is for Write

Write a gratitude list. You may be surprised how many things we have to be grateful for.

W is for When

When in doubt, ask questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked.

W is for Wish. Don't wish your life away. Live it one day at a time. Let go of the past. Live each day to it's fullest. Go with the flow, and let your God lead and direct your life.

W is for Willing. I need to be willing to do what ever it takes to maintain my sobriety. I need to remember what got me to where I am in today, and be grate for my sobriety. When I get to Step 12, I need to remember to start again at Step One. If I have worked the Steps to the best of my ability, I will have become honest, and I need to look at a deeper level of personal truth.

W is for Why? My sponsor said not to ask Why, just do. The program works when we work for it. It has stood the test of times, why should I want to change it. People have been wanting to change it for years and end up relapsing.
