I try to drink 96 ounces of water every day.

Had a wee chuckle, my attitude toward water prior to recovery was, "Water rusts your stomach." I justified drinking pots of coffee by saying, "It has water in it."

In today, I always have a glass of water beside me. It especially good and cleansing if you put some lemon or lime juice in it.

I put lemon or lime juice in the water once in a while. Water is especially helpful for me to flush out my system. It is one of my kidney stone prevention tools. (Speaking of kidney stones, I have an appointment with my stone prevention doctor on April 7th.)

PS Now that I think about, I drank a lot of water in my drinking days...with Crown or whiskey in it. Just plain water is the way I go today. Drink water...pee....drink water...pee....drink water....pee

Call them a JoAnne Thing! Not sure if that is not acknowledge them, it isn't exactly endorsement. I was told that talking in the third person, isn't validating yourself. I think it is a put down. Don't do it as often today. It is more sarcasm than anything, but not sure if I am laughing at myself, discounting myself, or acknowledging my humanness.

Don't drink tap water, bought two filter jugs, so I always have cold water.

I have found that it is a lot easier to drink water in the summer than in the winter. I suppose that is a no brainer since in the summertime, a person is sweating and is more thirsty.

Yet truth be told, the weather is drier in the winter, and we become dehydrated, especially in my place, a 23 floor building where heat rises.

It affects my breathing, sinuses, and my skin. I really need to load up on water. My humidifier broke, and I need to buy a new one.

I didn't think about that it is drier in the winter. We all need to drink water to stay hydrated every day no matter what season of the year we are in.

Water a life source for all beings. Something that we all need to preserve. We are a part of God's Creation. We are made up of water. What are we putting in our bodies?

I drink water everyday, most of the day (about 90%; the other 10% is orange juice, milk, coffee, & the rare occasion of a soda).
