Hi. I am Vince, an alcoholic, just checking in for the first time.
 

Hello everybody. I just found this site. I have been fighting my addiction for about 10 years now. I have relapsed quite a few times. I have been in residential treatment twice in the past year. I just finished my last treatment this past Monday and now am in sober living. I have fully surrendered this time, I cannot do it alone. Being in sober living is a testament to that as I am doing so at the direction of my counselor. I have also turned my will and my life over to the care of god, and I am looking forward to see where god takes me. I really want to do something that will make a positive difference int he world, and want to discover who I really am. I need all the help I can get. Thanks for listening.

Welcome to the site, there is a lot of daily information and sharing on the site. So glad you are here, hope you come daily for the reading and to check out the rest of the board to see if you can find anything you can use for your recovery. Your counselor's word comes first.
