Focus On God's Goals

FOCUS ON GOD’S GOALS

It’s true. We are who we focus on and we do what we focus on. If we focus on what we want to do all the time and what pleases us, we will do what our wants and needs are. If we focus on the needs of others, we will look for ways to help them. If we focus on God, we will learn what His will is for us and want to do His will. We will want to reach His goals for us. We will want to pursue the things He has called us today. Today, let’s be more mindful of God’s will for us and begin focusing on His goals for us.

Matthew 20:28 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know Jesus’ focus was on serving man. He was born to save us and He died to save us. His focus throughout His life was to save us. We are grateful. We are thankful. We are humbled by You. Help us today to focus only on You and Your purpose for us in our lives. May we be as focused as Jesus in doing what You have called us to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today, our focus should be on obeying God and serving man as He calls us to serve.

God sent Jesus to serve us and save us. We should begin today to do what God has called us to do.

Focusing on God’s goals for us requires that we get into His word and allow Him to get into our hearts.

Our focus should be on God’s goals for us. When we put our hope in Him, we can do His will.

God keeps His promises and we should hold on to the hope we have in Him by being obedient to what He calls us to do.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” (NLT)

Focus today: Focus on being obedient to God and serving others.

I will to will your will, not mine. If I don't have the willingness, then I have to pray and ask for it.
