How long must you carry the burdens of your mistakes? You are not meant to live every moment with regret. Learn from your past, and carry on with your head held high.

God wants you to know that ... you are not alone.

Our own fears and insecurities can make us feel that we are beyond help, beyond hope. Know that there is no place that far and that God is always with you.

God wants you to know that ... sharing only increases your share.

When you give to the less fortunate, you empower them to add value to the world - a world that you share with them. When their lives get better, yours will also naturally be uplifted.

God wants you to know that ... every little part of you is magical.

Yes, even the parts that hurt, even the ones that are feeling disease right now. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's exactly where your love is needed the most. So why not touch that part that hurts and smile at it, at yourself through it, and whisper: "I love you."

God wants you to know that ... faith in yourself will see you through.

You are strong and can deal with anything that life throws at you. Take a deep breath and be filled with the knowledge that you can deal with all things.

God wants you to know that ... God is crazy about you.

God sends you fresh flowers every spring, a breathtaking sunrise every morning. If God had a wallet, your picture would be in it. If God has a refrigerator, your childhood scribbles would be on it.

God wants you to know that ... the quality of life is a result of many small actions.

It's not New Year resolutions, nor big promises that make or break life, it's the innumerable small actions you take every hour that compound into a life well lived. Look at how you are living moment to moment to know whether at the end of your life you will be looking back with pride or sorrow.

God wants you to know that ... miracles aren't always big.

If you spend all your time looking for big miracles, you're likely to miss a lot of the little ones; finding your keys when you need them, getting the right medicine for an illness, arriving home safely. God is giving you little miracles all the time. The more you look for them, the more you will see.

God wants you to know that ... you will feel better if you notice the sweetness of life.

Notice the smiles of children, the songs of the birds, the caress of the sun's warmth. This sweetness is for you. Allow it to soothe your soul and bring a smile to your face.

God wants you to know that ... she who kneels before God can stand before anyone.

Take refuge in God and you will be able to handle anything life throws your way.

God wants you to know that ... you need to have faith.

No matter how deep the abyss or how powerful the storms you face, everything can change for the better in a day, a moment or an instant. Hold on and know that your current circumstances will pass.

God wants you to know that ... even the desert has beauty.

Good times and bad times are part of living. It is difficult to fully appreciate joy until you have tasted sadness. Laughter is sweeter if you have experienced tears. There may be times when you feel like you're stuck in a dry and desolate place, but an encouraging call or a hug from a friend can be an oasis; beauty in the desert. Though it may not be easy, try to remember that the trials are going to help you fully experience the joy on the horizon.

God wants you to know that ... the sun and the stars are reminders of God’s eternal presence, as are the ancient mountains and the deep ocean.

Look upon the stars, or sit atop a mountain, or swim in the sea to realize that the world is very big indeed and your problems, though they may seem big, are very tiny in the overall scheme of things. See things from this larger perspective.

God wants you to know that ... you already know the answer.

If you cannot find the answers you seek, it is because they are not easily expressed in words. Listen to your heart. It knows everything - but does not need words to communicate.

God wants you to know that ... you have so many gifts! - use them.

God has given you so many gifts to sow love and to give hope, to shine light and to spread joy. Abundant gifts. Use them. Give to yourself and give to others. There is an endless spring where they come from.
