God wants you to know that ... truth has a life of its own.

There will come a time when your yearnings become so strong and powerful that you will have no choice but to let them become reality.

God wants you to know that ... when you need a break, - take a break.

You will often find that the world does not crumble when you are resting. Others will move in to take care of those details that you think cannot be done without you.

God wants you to know that ... every little part of you is magical.

Yes, even the parts that hurt, even the ones that are feeling disease right now. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's exactly where your love is needed the most. So why not touch that part that hurts and smile at it, at yourself through it, and whisper: "I love you."

God wants you to know that ... although forgiveness is very hard, it is necessary.

Holding onto anger and old hurts hardens your heart and hurts only you. Ask for help in letting go of the anger. Ask to see the situation through the eyes of compassion. Allow yourself to feel the lightness of forgiveness.

God wants you to know that ... every moment is an opportunity for you to be happy.

You know how sometimes it seems that life is just throwing you one curved ball after another? Well, guess what, - you have a great way to respond! - you can use every opportunity, every single one, to be happy. Don't just take a shower - feel into and receive pleasure from the water on your skin. Don't just walk on the street - enjoy the fragrances of the trees and the flowers on your way. Don't just drive your car - sing karaoke to your favorite radio station.

God wants you to know that ... everything has seasons.

What you are struggling with the most right now is in its winter season. Spring will come soon enough. What brings you most happiness is in its summer season. Fall will come soon enough. Live wise in this understanding.

God wants you to know that ... there is much more good in this world than bad.

Don't let the media fool you. There are kind, good-hearted, generous, loving people all over this world. They just don't get nearly as much attention as the 'bad guys'. Remember that there is goodness and love all around.

God wants you to know that ... you are exactly where you are meant to be.

Trust in God that everything is exactly the way it is supposed to be. Just as a child has to pass through a tiny channel on its way from the womb into life, so are you on your way to God.

God wants you to know that ... doubt is the rust of life.

Doubt holds you landlocked in paralysis unable to move either way. The time you spent doubting is the time you are not alive. So, rid yourself of the doubt, take that step one way or another, your heart knows what is best, but take it right now.

God wants you to know that ... you are deeply loved.

It is a gift; all you need to do is open up your heart and accept. And pass it on.

God wants you to know that ... decision is only wishful thinking until you take that first irreversible step.

You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backwards is so much safer than step forwards, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough? Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

God wants you to know that ... sometimes you need to let go.

Yes, it hurts when the things or the people we love are taken from us. Make your peace with loss. Nothing lasts forever. Like the trees in autumn, you too must learn to shed your attachments and start afresh.

God wants you to know that ... inevitable is best accepted with serenity.

There are times when you absolutely see no solution. When you've thought and thought and prayed and prayed; when you've sat still in meditation listening for an answer and still no answer comes. There are times when it's okay to just surrender.

God wants you to know that ... when the world seems crazy, chaotic, destructive, you can choose to create your own world of peace and love.

You do not have to immerse yourself in the illusion of craziness. You can create your own heaven on earth by being kind, surrounding yourself with good people, and nurturing the earth.

God wants you to know that ... we all need the validation of love to feel safe, secure, and at home in this world.

Don't withhold your love and appreciation. Love abundantly.

God wants you to know that ... love will prevail.

It is easy to love when loved, and hurt those who hurt. But if you can love the ones who hurt you, you will overcome all obstacles. Love is the greatest power you can possess.

God wants you to know that ... if you cannot accept failing, you cannot succeed.

Nothing truly meaningful is achieved on the first attempt, and if that's where you stop, then failure is all you will have.

God wants you to know that ... you are being asked to be a steward of this earth.

God entrusted this earth to us. Not to trash and spoil her, but to respect and treat her well. After all, this earth is the handiwork of God.

God wants you to know that ... generosity will make you rich.

The best thing to do if you're feeling poor is to give something away. Give a few dollars to a homeless person, some clothes to a thrift store or pay for the person behind you at the drive through. Instead of focusing on what you don't have, focus on what you do have and how you can bless others with it. Being able to give is a Divine gift in itself.

God wants you to know that ... there is no need to obsess over a decision.

God has more in store for us than we can ever predict, and what we fear are bad choices frequently turn out for the best, because our hidden aspirations know better where we are going than our rational minds.

November 21

God wants you to know that ... true happiness is a state of mind.

Happiness is not a consequence of things that happen. Do not pursue happiness - practice it. Sing, even if you do not sound good. Smile, even when things go wrong. Create happiness, and happy you will be.

November 22

God wants you to know that ... you haven’t opened all your gifts yet.

Your life can be deeper than the ocean, larger than the sky and richer than all the minerals in the earth. You have so much potential. Do everything you dream of. Keep discovering yourself.

God wants you to know that ... you've been missing out on delight that God has sent your way.

Think back over the last day, - what could you have taken with delight that you just skipped over?

God wants you to know that ... kindness doesn't go unanswered.

Even though it seems like thanks and acknowledgments for good deeds are in short supply, God notices them. When you feel like giving up because gratitude eludes, remember that God is delighted in your efforts. Don't stop showing kindness because you feel unappreciated, the author of good things appreciates you very much.

God wants you to know that ... today is a whole day for you to do good.

What you do today is important because you are exchanging a whole day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; and in its place will be something that you had left behind... let it be something good.

God wants you to know that ... life is not a distraction from, life is an occasion for prayer.

You don't need a special place or special time to pray. You don't need to be in a special mood to pray. Praying is like breathing, - continuous, essential, life-giving, - praying is the conversation with God you start with birth and continue into old age. Praying is your celebration of God, - everything you do, everything you think, everything you say is another word, another sentence of your prayer.

God wants you to know that ... tolerance is your gift to the world.

It is easy to respond to hurts and frustrations with anger. The real measure of communion with God is tolerance.

God wants you to know that ... living your life as good as you are able to, is good enough.

You don't need to be superhuman, and you don't need to be perfect. Simply live the best you can, and God will take care of the rest.

God wants you to know that ... God is there in the midst of the chaos.

When everything in life turns upside down, remember that you are in the hands of the Creator. Look to God, and you'll always know which way is up.

divine messages come to you all the time.

They come through dreams, through snatches of songs, through things that you read which resonate with you, through synchronistic conversations, and most of all, in the quiet recesses of your heart. You may not have encounters with burning bushes, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t talking to you!
