What Can Come From Suffering

"We may never understand why certain things happen in our lives or the lives of others around us. The only thing we can do is try to trust in God's plan for each of us and take comfort that somehow, even though it may be beyond our comprehension, God uses everything that happens to work towards His ultimate good. Do not let bad things that happen allow your heart to become hardened."

Today's Prayer

I don't know your ways, Lord, as they are only known to you. Why people suffer is a mystery. When I do face suffering, do not let my heart become hard. Let me find some way that I may use the suffering to continue to spread your light and help others who may be facing suffering of their own. Amen
