February 1: It is time to take the next step in spiritual progression. Rise a little higher in your commitment to be all that you can be in Me, says the Lord. You have come this far, but you must not get stuck in where you have been and what you have done. There is more for you to understand and accomplish in the days ahead. Be flexible and be willing. Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

February 2: Settle yourself and refuse to get overwhelmed with responsibilities. You do not have to panic. Just remember who you are in Me, and come into the peace that passes understanding. I have not abandoned you, says the Lord. I am with you to bring you through every challenge. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

February 3: You have been through a rough patch, but things will begin to smooth out as you press on to do what I have called you to do and be who I called you to be, says the Lord. There is no need for condemnation. You are loved and precious in My sight. Do not take unwarranted criticism seriously regardless of whether it is from yourself or others. 1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

February 4: You are still recovering from events that you had no control over. But, this day is a new day with renewed possibilities. Take the next step in moving forward, and leave the past behind. What was done is done. You cannot change the past, but there is a lot you can do today, tomorrow, and following. Begin again. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

February 5: Situations that you have worried about and lost sleep over will come to resolution and a conclusion. It is time to begin a new phase in life and circumstances with renewed faith, hope, and courage. Remind yourself that you belong to Me, says the Lord, and I will bring you through in triumphant victory. 2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

February 6: Shift your focus from dwelling on your difficulties to living in the realm of gratitude for the spiritual gifts available to you. Remember the old song--accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, and do not mess with Mr. Inbetween. These are days of possibilities when you can choose to do what has seemed to be beyond your reach or impossible. Have faith. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--medicate on these things.

February 7: These are days when you can make changes that will benefit you in the long run, but may seem sketchy in the process. Ask Me for wisdom, and I will lead you in the way you should go whether it makes complete sense or not. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

February 8: When your heart breaks for the suffering of others, do what you can do, and leave the rest to Me, says the Lord. Your compassion reveals My heart. But, in circumstances beyond your control, your only recourse is to pray. This too shall pass. Psalm 86:15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

February 9: Listen for the sound of silence and be comfortable with it. When nothing is stirring you to deep thought or action, you must stir yourself so that you do not lose your edge. Take the initiative through a desire to know Me more personally and intimately. Explore the depths of spiritual truth and delight yourself in the light of revelation. Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

February 10: Refuse to worry about the future; you have enough to concern yourself with right here and right now. Take one day at a time and do the best you can with what you have been given to do today. Do not forget that I hold you in the palm of My hand, and I will never forsake you, says the Lord. Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

February 11: It is time to put things into perspective. Many of you have gotten distracted with issues that have no eternal value. These are days when you must draw closer to Me than ever before, says the Lord. You need to dig in and earnestly seek My face with a desire to actually live in the Spirit. Romans 13:11 Put on Christ and do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

February 12: When you find that you are discouraged and losing hope remind yourself of all that I have done in your life to bring you through to victory, says the Lord. I am with you every step of the way to lift you up and guide you through the maze of challenges you face. I will give you the strength and courage to endure. Isaiah 40:4-5 Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

February 13: You are faced with unusual circumstances that could overwhelm you. This is a time to find a place of peace in your soul and put your trust in My ability to be your very present help in trouble, says the Lord. Be quiet and listen for My still small voice to lead you in the way you should go. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

February 14: Make today a time of reconciliation where there has been division. Let your love shine through differences to reveal commonality and cooperation instead of strife and contention. The theme for today is forgiveness. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

February 15: When you look to the future, you are likely to be afraid of what could happen, or might happen. Be aware that what you think is ahead for you is pure speculation that is not anchored in reality. Stay in the moment and take one day at a time to deal with real issues. Never forget that I am your place of safety, says the Lord. Matthew 7:24-25 Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
