Default Just For Today Put On Peace

Just For Today – Part 2 — Day 16 - Put On Peace by SGLY Ministry

Just for Today I will put on…PEACE
“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 (NLT)

Today’s Action:
“Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts…”

Yes, Christ’s Peace surpasses all understanding.
His Peace gives us the ability to stand firm in a storm, remain strong when things are falling apart, or be joyful in times of adversity.
His Peace is a most desired covering, yet quite often, the least worn.

Peace is a state of mutual harmony between people.
It is freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, or anxiety.
It is tranquility or serenity, a silence or stillness of the soul.

Peace sounds so wonderful! Why is it so elusive?
Why don’t we wear it more often?
Because in this fallen world, peace doesn’t come naturally, we must pursue it.

If we are in Christ, we can continually live in His peace which surpasses all understanding.
We just need to realize that and focus on letting His Peace rule in our hearts daily.

“For He Himself is our peace,…” Ephesians 2:14

Peace is one of the many Spiritual Blessings we receive in Christ, so, Just for Today, let’s put on the Peace of Christ and live peacefully and free from the world.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
