Icon19 Prayer Please

Got a call this morning from my youngest sister. She got a call from our niece to tell us that our middle sister fell and broke her back. They sent her home from the hospital with morphine patches.

Don't know the whole story, but would appreciate your prayers. Her name is Margaret.

Lifting Margaret up to the Lord for healing and comfort, that she get good medical care, help and support, that she is relieved of pain without heavy narcotics, that she rest in the Lord.

Talked to my youngest sister to get my niece's phone number. She didn't call me back in time to talk with her today because she works afternoons.

Hope to talk to her tomorrow. From what my sister said, "It will take time and rest to heal." What worries me is the morphine patches.

Love and hugs to all.

Talked to my niece tonight. She said her mom is unable to get out of bed, not sure if she meant just for today or for several days.

I would appreciated continued prayers for her. She is a grandmother many times over and she is used to being able to pick them up, so it will leave an emptiness for a while. I am still feeling sad, but that is okay, a normal feeling and God and I will work through it.

My sister is healing, it will be a long process.

Got a call today that my younger sister, Lyn has to go for a test on Tuesday and results on Thursday as to whether she will lose her big toe.

She hurt it the other day, it got infected and was on antibiotics and they don't seem to be doing the job.

Asking for prayer for them both.

Got a call from my sister today. Her toe is infected worse than it was before and she is on an IV, which she has to go to the hospital ever other day to have the dressing changed, her husband is changing the bag at home.

I am very upset, so could use a prayer too. She was still on medication and was not to do any heavy work or pick up anything heavy. She pays a woman to help with the cleaning, has for years, an last Thursday, one of the children she babysits, through a whole bowl of soup against the wall. The housekeeper disappeared and her husband who helps her with the day care, took off. It took her two hours to clean up the mess. I told her she should have left it, but my sister is the caregiver, and to my way of thinking her husband is a mental and emotional abuser and this makes him a physical abuser.

What she has could be life threatening seeing as she is diabetic and has heart issues.

My sister Lyn called today to talk. She goes to the doctor's on Wednesday and she gets the inter-venous out, she has been on double dose of antibiotics for two weeks. Her toe isn't healing and the doctor has to order something else to try.

Asking for healing prayers for her.

Just received a call from my sister, she is in the hospital. She was on intravenous for two weeks. They put her on oral medication for the infection in her toe. She never called me, I think her husband was suppose to, but she has been in the hospital since last Sunday. Her husband gave her his car phone today and she called me. It was another God thing, I thought of her, went into my purse to see if it needed charging, and the phone rang, and she called me.

The oral medication made her nauseated, and she was throwing up and not able to eat and became dehydrated. As a result, her kidneys started shutting down and the infection has gone into the bone.

Requesting more prayer for her. I hope to go out tomorrow to see her if it doesn't rain. It is suppose to rain tonight, so hopefully it will clear as I have to take two buses to get to the hospital she is in.

Thank You.
