I am free to respond to any situation with grace and ease
Free
I am free to respond to any situation with grace and ease. Life can be like a winding road—filled with sharp turns, unexpected bumps, and steep hills. At times we may anxiously clutch the wheel; at others, we relax and enjoy the ride. Occasionally, we may need to pull off the road and simply catch our breath. Meditation allows us to catch our breath and relax into our life experience. We become aware of our inner world, acknowledge our experiences, and release them. We let go of worry and stress and come home to the peace and wisdom of Divine Mind, where true freedom lies. We free ourselves to respond to life consciously and react calmly. Centered in God, we accept and appreciate whatever life brings. You shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has freed you.—Exodus 6:7 Daily Word

How true, I do a lot of meditation. Going within to find the answers. I haven't been able to respond to a lot of the posts lately, because I couldn't get by the religious teachings to the spiritual concepts that I look for and apply to my life.
I haven't been feeling well either, so have been posting my regular posts, and hopefully, I will be able to come back and share on some of them. There are so many, I got over whelmed and it will take a lot to catch up. I know if the words are meant to be said, they will be given onto me. My spirituality enhances my religious beliefs and my religious beliefs enhance my spirituality. Without the spiritual, I could not stay clean and sober. I was raised in a very strong Christian home and very involved in the church for years. It didn't stop me from becoming an alcoholic or an addict. My doctor put me on Valium at 16. Our church used real wine for communion, so I had a taste since the age of 14 when I was baptized.
