Default Conversation Heart : Guarded Mouth

Conversation Heart : Guarded Mouth by SGLY Ministry

MOUTH MEDICINE:
Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Psalms 141:3 [NKJV]

TONGUE TALK:
I am sure all of us have said something we wish we hadn’t, often times unchecked words can hurt and harm, not only others but also ourselves.

So let’s try to remember to pray this prayer, or one like it,everyday when we awaken so we can live each day better because we have mouths and hearts that are guarded by the Lord.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Dear Lord. today I ask You to set a guard over my mouth and my heart.
Keep me from saying, thinking or doing things I might wish later I had not.
Please, Lord, watch over my mouth, lips, tongue and heart so that they will not cause others, me, or You any trouble. Thank You Lord. Amen.

HEART HELP: GUARDED HEART:

The Lord says:
“Pay attention, my child, to what I say.
Listen carefully. Don’t lose sight of my words.
Let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they bring life and radiant health
to anyone who discovers their meaning.
Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.”
Proverbs 4:20-23 [NLT]

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles.
Proverbs 21:23 [NKJV]

Like this. I heard a few months ago about turning our speech over to my God as well as my thoughts and actions. It has worked for me, when I remember to do it. Often I don't remember until my tongue does some wagging. It may be out loud, but it can also be on the internet.
