Let Go, Let God
Let Go, Let God
I let go and let God guide my life. Sometimes events, people, or situations may not live up to my expectations. I may feel disappointed, let down, or angry. My first thought may be to look for someone to blame. I may want to force an outcome or think about running away. In these moments, I take a deep, relaxing breath and turn within. With each breath, I release tensions, fears, and judgments, and I realign with Spirit. As I settle deeper into prayer I am willing to release whatever may be bothering me. I realize I don’t have to know the who, how, or when of a resolution, only that it will happen in its perfect timing and place. I affirm patience and faith—knowing I am blessed in ways beyond my current understanding. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6 Daily Word
