January 17: Take time out from all of the distractions of life to spend time in My presence, says the Lord. Do not just say a prayer and be on your way; truly connect quietly and spiritually. Receive the essence of goodness and blessings that have been stored up for you. Be filled with possibilities and hope for the future. I am for you and with you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

Now it is time to look ahead and establish goals for the future. Bring more clarity to what you want or need to accomplish in the days ahead. Begin to outline and formulate your desires. Philippians 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Leave the past behind and move forward in hope and faith for a better future. I am with you to guide you and direct your steps. Do not be afraid. Roman 8:1-2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
