June 18: I was reminded of the old song lyrics: "Accentuate the positive; eliminate the negative; latch on to the affirmative; don't mess with mister in-between." There is nothing we can do about what is already done and behind us, but there is plenty we can do in going forward. It is vital that we conform to the Word of God and align ourselves to do His will in order to receive His benefits and blessings. Psalm 5:12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.

This was given to me personally, but I believe it also applies to the body of Christ having to do with things we are waiting for. Continue to be patient without losing hope. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.
