It's our own thinking that's flawed, but rarely do any of us ever think so, or realize this before we begin recovery. Lots of us will continue to try to hold on to our thinking after we begin recovery, and because we do, nothing happens, and we end up being just as miserable as we were before we got into recovery. This can change at any time for any of us when we're ready to let go of our thinking and to replace it with what really works when it comes to helping us with this problem. We'll all find this through recovery and it has worked to help many who think just like we do. All of us have lots of other problems that we'll need to take a look at, and then to work on, but we won't be able to do any of that until after we've able to get our thinking straightened out. Then and only then will we be able to have any success at working on these problems as well. This has been and is in many cases still our blind spot because none of us are able to see how it's been our very own flawed thinking that's been making things worse for us, and it's been making things even more difficult for us when it comes to us having this problem. It's not until we're ready to do something about our thinking that any of us will ever be able to begin to get any better.
