Glad to be back , had very awful July - Bluidkiti's Alcohol and Drug Addictions Recovery Help/Support Forums

I am glad to be back . In the beginning of July I was brought to hospital with respiratory failure and pneumonia. They put me in a drug induced coma for 5 days. I woke up in ICU and did not know how I got there.My wife said I walked into a wall did not know where I was .She walked me out to our truck and took me to emergency room . I spent 11 days in all in the hospital.I was glad I went to the hospital were all of my doctors are at .I have never been so scared and prayed to my Higher Power and God . Both of the ministers from our church came to see me and give me prayers.I will be posting a lot more .I realize how lucky I am . The doctor said I have to lose a lot of weight , I have already lost 20 pounds , no carbs is not easy but my life is more important.

Welcome back Buckberry. So grateful that God saw you through, it must have been very scary. The unknown is fearful in and of itself, and so glad that your faith in your God saw you through it all.
