What We Don't Know

It's not what we don't know that's killing all of us, it's what we already know that is wrong that we're choosing to believe, this is what is doing all of us in. Recovery is more about us learning to let go of what we already know that's not working then it is to educate ourselves. We all came to this world already having the solution to our problem and after we join up with recovery we'll learn how we can remove any of the roadblocks in our thinking that keeps us from that solution which will save us from our problem. To most of us this seems like impossible task that all of us think there's no way this is going to work for us, but what we all don't know is there is a part of us that already wants this to work, and is waiting for us to do these things found in recovery, and once we do it changes us, and what we've been thinking and believing we'll no longer be comfortable with. We'll see how wrong it is for us to think like this and that it's been causing us harm when we do. In this life we're all allowed to believe what we want to believe, but whenever what we're believing is killing us it's time for all of us to start to look for something else to believe in.
