Encouraging Word - February

Have been thinking of God`s Love and putting my hand in His this morning.

Yesterday, on my way home from downtown, when I had to stop and rest many times a long the way. It is uphill all the way and I was grateful that my son came by and walked me home. I had to let him push my walker. I had chest pains and no energy.

When I had one of my little rests, my little figurine about 2 in. high, that I got when I was 10 years old for perfect attendance at Sunday School. It is a little girl, with a kerchief on her head, holding a bowl of eggs, and a puppy has his paws on her and wanting attention or wants to see what is in the bowl. That reminds me of my own curious mind that always wanted to know.

What I am most grateful for is the fact that I still have it 61 years later. I think it is the only momentum left in my life. I am surprised that I was able to hold onto it and not leave it behind, when I made all those moves in my life. I think it was my inner knowing and it was my inner connection that I held onto, that helped me get back to my God.
