Strength To Love
STRENGTH TO LOVE
There is strength we must muster up ourselves and it comes from spending time with God, reading His word and praying. We are to love the Lord with all our strength. That means if our strength is spent on making as much money as we can, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. That means if our strength is spent on loving others more than God, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. That means if our strength is spent on gossiping, getting even and doing things that help only us, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. When we spend all our strength on loving God, He will help us to love others as well. Deuteronomy 6:5 “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.” (NLT) Dear Lord, we know You want all of our strength put into loving, learning and obeying You. Show us Your will today. Help us draw closer to You today. Lead us down the right path of righteousness today. We want to put aside anything that will cause us to keep from using our strength to love only You. Help us today, Lord, to love You with all our strength, all our soul and all of our hearts. In Jesus’ name. Amen. God tells us to love Him with all our strength. What do we need to stop wasting our strength on so we can better love Him? God gives us the ability to love Him with all our strength but sometimes we become to weak to love Him because we are grow tired from doing other things. When we focus on loving God with all our strength, then He will help us to always do the right things. When we spend all our strength on loving God, He will help us to love others as well. Loving God with all our strength means to exercise our minds and hearts by being obedient to Him. Mark 12:30 “And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” (NLT) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_pu...d=FRANCESLUCAS
