It Finds Us

What we all perceive as some kind of curse when we all first get to recovery turns out to be a blessing to each and every one of us, and is what saves all us from what's coming next for us if we don't choose ourselves to stay here. This is not a threat for any of us, it's just the facts as they are for all of us. For some reason all of us have been directed this way to recovery. It will take us all some time before any of us realize just how fortunate we all really are that this has happened. It's only by us all seeing and knowing what comes next after this happens for anyone who chooses not to be in recovery do we all finally accept the fact that we're better off being here then anywhere else. It finds us, and why us will be a mystery for all of us forever, but all of us do begin to learn how to count our blessings when it comes to us being here in recovery, especially when it becomes clear what happens to those of who are no longer here, or for those of us who never even got the chance to be here.
