Many of us want to come into recovery being certain that if we're going to do this recovery thing that from now on things are going to be alright for all of us going forward. Unfortunately that's not how things will be if we do join recovery there are no guarantees of anything or of what things will be like for any of us, but fortunately for all of us if we do start the practice of recovery in our life we'll all be given something that's much better than this. What's better than having a guarantee is all of us learning how to have faith and to trust that everything is happening as it should be, and there is no need for us to intervene in what's going on, and that it's really none of our business that things will work out in the end like they are suppose to be without us. Having this kind of faith that we'll all learn about from being in recovery will allow all of us to focus on taking care of ourselves and our problem which is something that none of us were very good at before we all get here to recovery. Instead we've all been trying to solve all the worldly troubles that really have nothing to do with us and with this problem we all have, and it wouldn't do any of us any good even if we could solve them which we can't. By us being able to trust that everything is happening the way it should be and then for us to learn how to focus on taking care of ourselves and this problem of ours, none of us will ever need to have any guarantees, and that's a promise we all can count on.
