Default Pray For Strength

PRAY FOR STRENGTH

There are so many times we are weak. We are too weak to know what God wants. We are too weak to do what God calls us to do. We are too weak to even go to Him and ask. Our weakness may not be physical. It may be that our mind is not focused on God because the things of the world are consuming us. It may that our weakness is our attitude. We don’t want to pray because we don’t want to change. We are afraid we will have to give up what we like to do. However, when we are weak, God is strong. He will help us if we go to Him and pray for strength to desire to do His will and to actually do it.

Psalm 138:3 “As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, at times we are weak physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We pray when we have these weak moments that the Holy Spirit will intervene and give us strength. We pray when we have these weak moments that the Holy Spirit will intervene and show us what to turn away from and help us to turn completely to You. Give us strength to do Your will today, tomorrow and always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Weakness can keep us from doing God’s will, but He can give us strength.

When we are weak physically, God can give us strength to carry on.

When we are weak emotionally, God can give us strength to carry on.

When we are weak mentally, Go can give us strength to carry on.

We should not only pray for strength for ourselves but other believers as well.

2 Thessalonians 1:11 “So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.” (NLT)

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
