Default P-O-W-E-R Day 5: Purpose

P-O-W-E-R Day 5: Purpose by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture:
“But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Exodus 9:16 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
The Lord always has a purpose for everything that He does.
In Exodus His purpose was to show His power.
What do you think His purpose is for your life? Do you think He wants to show His power through you?
2 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT) says: We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.
This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He does want us to find out what it is so that He can work His power within us to accomplish it.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to know Your purpose for me. I want to know Your power in my life.
Please help me to stay focused this New Year.
I pray that Your Holy Spirit will reveal all You want me to know and then help me to walk it out daily in Your power.

Today’s Action: Purpose:

Determine to stay focused
Redeem your time.
Renew your goals.
Pray, Plan, Proceed, Purpose.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
