Have been struggling, because my son has been mentally and emotionally abusive as his dad and ex-step-father combined. The only difference, he hasn't physically hit me, but when you consider the 'stuff' he removed from my home, or the things he ruined and had to be thrown out or replaced over the years, that physically affects me as well.
He is going through his struggles and I hope He connects to his God, while he is in detox and wherever he chooses to go from there.
