Precious Promises – Day 26 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Promise: SUCCESS
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
As believers in Christ we have been blessed with success!
God has given us all the spiritual blessings we will ever need to succeed!
He has placed His Holy Spirit within us to show us just what the blessings are and then to help us know how we can use them in our lives to assure success each day.

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God, I want true success which is what comes from You!
Thank You for giving me all I will ever need to succeed.
I will determine to make it my goal to live each day learning of and walking in the blessings You have provided to me so that I will be truly successful! Thank You, God, for Your goodness and mercy to me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

Puppies For Sale

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of a little boy. "Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."

"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, "These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money."

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"

"Sure," said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle, "Here, Dolly!" he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared; this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up... "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to the runt.

The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching to a specially made shoe. Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands."

God knows what you may be going through and don't forget He is the one who created you. God loves you and thinks of you often. Never let anyone tell you that God does not care about you or love you.

Be encouraged and know that God is with you and He is your perfect strength when you are in need.

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

Today’s Scripture: "He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]." (Isaiah 40:29, AMPC)

He Increases Strength

Whatever you need today, know that God is your source and supply. You may feel tired and weary from a long spiritual or emotional battle. God promises that He increases our strength and causes it to multiply. One of the ways God fills us with His strength is by giving us His joy. When we have joy, we have strength to overcome. Joy is a supernatural empowerment that is deposited on the inside of you. As you meditate on the goodness and faithfulness of our God, you won’t be able to help but feel His joy. Like rivers of living water, joy will flow forth from you, refreshing and strengthening you so that you have the power to overcome every obstacle you may be facing. If you feel faint or weary, remember, there’s a harvest of blessing in store for you. Let faith rise in your heart as you meditate on His promises. Let Him fill you with His peace and joy so that you will have an abundance of strength. As you do, you will be empowered to live the life of victory the Lord has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today: "Heavenly Father, today I come to You and ask that You fill me with Your peace and joy. Let Your strength rise up on the inside of me so that I can embrace the victorious life You have planned for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

The Peace of God

Thus sayeth The Lord, "My Peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give you. Do not let your heart be troubled, or be afraid."
The men of the world spend their lives searching for inner peace and they cannot find it.
They buy cabins in the mountains, seashores or other places of solace, yet peace flees from them. They take drugs and tranquilizers attempting to achieve inner peace, yet peace flees from them.
Inner Peace is a treasure of great value.
The people of the world spend fortunes trying to attain it, yet it flees from them. It is a gift from God, a fruit of His Spirit, a light that overcomes the darkness of anxiety.
Come into God's presence and His Peace shall over shadow you.
